Stewardship Policy

How we act as a steward of your trust

Stewardship Policy

In its original context, a steward is the manager of a household. At Andries Oberholzer Consulting, our business is to be a steward of your website or the services we render to you. There are a few key aspects we would like to highlight.

Ownership

You are the owner of the services we have rendered to you. If all dues have been settled, the information is yours. You can also then decide what to do with it.

Responsibility

We have a responsibility to ensure that the information you have entrusted us with is used in the intended way, to the highest level possible.

Privacy

We do not share your information with others. Your identity is never revealed should we use certain work we have done for clients. If we manage your full domain services and have access to your domain's control panel, then we will have access to various services relating to your domain. We do not check on your email, except to see that the service is active and is performing as intended. We may, with your permission, intervene should there be a problem or an emergency, but this is with your consent. Costs pertaining to your domain and services is confidential and we will not share this with anyone.

Adding Value to Your Business

Just like the parable, you have entrusted us with your project, and we are required to ensure the investment pays dividends – your information must add value to your business.

Providing Advice

We may offer advice in terms of how certain aspects could be improved upon. Of course, implementing the chosen advice may carry a cost. See this cost as part of the process to improve your business; not just as additional income for us. You are free not to accept our recommendations.

Growth

If your business grows as a result of the services we have rendered, then we grow as well. In this respect we both benefit from the relationship, and we would like to keep it this way.
